Something  is definitely wrong with me :(
I mean.. I discovered I am less sharper now (or dumb-er??? erks!), blur, mediocre, confused, blunt, not focused, wiped-out, tak tajam akal fikiran, BENGONGGG.. aduhhhh.

Since when? Since.. since.. since one or two months back.

I DO NOT KNOW WHY.

Because of an idiotic sequence of events that I encountered:

• Woke up for Subuh prayer, upon the first takbir, arrggh! I haven't washed my feet during wudhu'. Oh, so mamai! 
• I was steaming some leftovers for lunch.. darn! I didnt fill the steamer pot with any water! How stupid is that?! The microwavable plastic steamer was melted, ruined!
• I usually am able to think a few steps of events sequences ahead, like planning this and that, and dealing with what-ifs. Lately, thinking seems a tiny bit slow.

I pray for my state of mind recovery, amen.

I really have to salute these conmen who wrote con emails, they are so creative, trying out every plots' twist and turn to get us the recipients to believe them! Really, I don't delete the emails but archive them nicely in a folder so I can check them out ~for fun~ from time to time =B

Projek Qurban 2010 untuk Palestin

Semoga semua pembaca sentiasa berada ditaburi nikmat dan rahmat Allah swt.

Sadaqah Qurban ~ Aman Yang Berterusan Sejak 1427H ~ Dengan hanya RM350

Apakah sadaqah Qurban adalah sejenis sedekah, ia dikaitkan dengan ibadah korban kerana sumbangan tersebut akan digunakan untuk membeli haiwan korban dan disembelih pada Hari Raya Aidil Adha untuk diagihkan kepada rakyat Palestin.

Orang yang memberi sedekah ini diberi – insya Allah – pahala ‘wajib’ kerana sumbangan disalurkan kepada orang yang layak dan sangar memerlukan. Tabaru’ (sumbangan sunat) kepada rakyat Palestin adalah wajib mengikut fatwa ulama’ muktabar:

Al-Qardawi;

“Saya berpendapat membantu saudara kita di Palestin bukanlah sedekah sunat, bahkan ianya kefarduan yang wajib dan tugas yang mesti dilaksanakan ke atas ummah”.

“Saya menyatakan bahawa penyaluran haiwan korban saat ini untuk masyarakat Gaza hukumnya wajib sewajibnya”.

Kenapa diwujudkan program ini ?

Rakyat Palestin adalah umat Islam yang hidup menderita akibat kekejaman rejim Zionis. Konflik yang berlaku membuat mereka dalam situasi yang amat terdesak dan lebih memerlukan kepada sumbangan haiwan korban.

Kemungkinan banyak pihak yang tidak mampu membeli bahagian dan haiwan korban di Palestin kerana harganya yang tinggi, untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini pihak Aman Palestin Berhad mewujudkan program khusus iaitu “Sadaqah Qurban”.

Anda boleh membantu menyediakan haiwan korban bagi rakyat Palestin dengan menyertai Sadaqah Qurban.

Faedah;

1- Orang yang memberi sedekah ini akan mendapat ganjaran pahala yang amat besar berdasarkan fatwa ulama muktabar.

2- Rakyat Palestin tetap boleh menerima bahagian daging korban seperti umat Islam yang lain.

Harga Penyertaan Bagi setiap penyertaan Sadaqah Qurban hanya RM350 sahaja.

Orang KL mesti perasan bangunan ini, bangunan yang betul-betul terletak di bahu Jalan Tun Razak di tengah-tengah ibukota. Bangunan yang tersergam megah di sisi sebuah tabung gergasi, bangunan yang menempatkan sebuah badan pelaburan yang terpenting di negara kita, cuba teka .. ahhaa PNB!

Seingat saya, memang belum pernah jejak kaki ke sini tapi kelmarin dapat peluang jadi supir bawa orang tua ke sini untuk menyelesaikan urusan sijil saham.

Nak pandu masuk kena ikut jalan belakang tapi parkir percuma sahaja.

Masjid Ternama Kerana Namanya

Digelar Masjid Besi kerana binaannya terkandung 70 peratus besi dan selebihnya konkrit. Nama asalnya Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin, dirasmikan pada 11 Jun 2010 dan terletak di Presinct 3, Putrajaya. Masjid yang berharga RM200 juta ini merupakan masjid yang unik kerana ia telah direkabentuk agar tidak memerlukan sebarang kipas atau penghawa dingin tetapi menggunakan teknologi gas penyejuk udara.

Saya menjejak kaki ke sini buat pertama kali pada malam ke 22 Ramadhan, Alhamdulillah.

Pemandangan dari Dewan Solat yang berkonsep terbuka.

Masjid Putrajaya boleh dilihat dengan jelas dari ruang solat ini, kerana lokasi kedua-dua masjid bersetentangan.

Gambar cuma dapat diambil menggunakan N82 Nokia yang bengkak dan uzur tapi masih setia berjasa.

Terminal Bas Bukit Jalil

Kalau berpuluh-puluh bas berlepas dari Terminal Bas Sementara Bukit Jalil setiap hari maka berpuluh-puluh ekor ulat turut menyerikan bahkan memeriahkan terminal bas tersebut dengan setia. Ulat-ulat ini bukan ulat biasa, tetapi ulat yang boleh berkata-kata kerana dilahirkan sebagai manusia.

Aduan Rakyat TV3 episod 28 Julai 2010 telah memaparkan aduan berkenaan ulat tiket bas di Terminal Bas Sementara Bukit Jalil. 

Tapi bila terjumpa ulat-ulat ini biasanya saya akan pekakkan telinga, pandang sebelah mata, senyum dan terus jalan laju-laju ke destinasi.

Rangkaian perkhidmatan bas terbesar, Transnasional, terletak di platform hujung berdekatan gerai dan berbumbung bagi memudahkan orang ramai menunggu dengan selesa. Kalau hujan lebat, terminal ini mungkin jadi sedikit huru-hara kerana bumbung sementara cuma sedikit.

To those who haven't been here, Bukit Jalil Bus Terminal is within 5 minutes walking distance from STAR LRT Bukit Jalil. Have a pleasant trip! Bon voyage!

Puteri Resort in Ayer Keroh, Melaka. It has great pools, great outdoor landscape for great outdoor activities.


There are two kiddy pools with slides,even baby slides.

Decent but room is a tad bit small to my liking.
I didnt get to splash in the pool :\ but it looks very inviting.

Bloom with love

My orchid .. after almost 20 months, decided to bloom!


I owned her for nearly 10 years now. She came from the forest, then moved to Bangsar, then she became mine, courtesy of Mr. Ganesh :)

She always blooms every 6-9 months. I shifted to a new home early last year, that was when she almost called it quit. Not enough sunshine I presumed or she hated our new place. So I nursed her with love and kindness .. lol.

Alhamdulillah now I know she still loves me :)

I havent wrote for quite some time. Did anyone notice??
Anyway, today I woke up the earliest (7.30 am), showered, made breakfast .. the traditional lempeng dengan kuah sardin .. he he.

Now, 9.30 am, all work done and I have some time to blog.

The kids are still in bed plus the daddy crashed in only after the Spain-Uruguay match, so I have the time all for myself. Blog, blog away!

Though this movie is a remake, it opens up to the crowd in a new perspective since we travel all the way to China, meet the real fearsome kungfu-gangsta, get beaten up so, so bad till blue-black-broken-bruises all over, had to hide behind a pillar almost everyday at school!

Cheng who leads the local neigbourhood gangsta and the no-pain no-mercy kungfu sifu really do create and instill the fear and hatred among audiences **two-thumbs-up**!

The glimpses of the great Great Wall, the majestic Forbidden City and the magnificent kungfu school earn this movie an awesome cinematography.

Rumpelstiltskin is the evil newcomer in this episode who tricks the King to give away Far Far Away kingdom, and cheats Shrek for 'an ogre for a day' deal. As usual, the adorable Puss in Boots steals the show with his dreamy, moonstone round eyes (and they are getting bigger and bigger, he is a F.A. in this movie *giggle*).

Yannay wants FB coz her friends play games on FB and they can play together.

But she's a young budding artist (I'm not kidding! her artworks are awesome for her age) so she's supposed to create one DevianArt as well. She claimed she's a songwriter since she often re-composed the lyrics of her fave songs. (I ve seen them. To my horror, some were horror, about 3 ft tall of full-nonsense but you got to admit that it's a raw, hidden talent waiting to be horned). 'Very high potential..' her art teacher said.

Friendster? Baah ..that's dinosaur age. Yet she created one for herself 3 months ago.

Myra created her MySpace recently coz all her friends have them, I guess it's a hype, a trend, the cool IN-thing to do. Okay, I didn't object, I don's see anything hazardous except if she keeps inviting or accepting strangers in her list.

Can I have FB too? No, not now, wait till you're older, I said, unknown dangers are lurking everywhere. She created Friendster when she was 10, she must have out-grown it already. She's into poetry and quotes, unlike her kid sis.

Then, there's one more who just loves playing games and has no demand of social networking .. yet. But almost every Friday 'Mum, my friends wanna come over and play!' 'Sure ... hmmmm'.

For the record, Yannay is 11, Myra is 14 and the 'one more' is enjoying her kindy years.

Seeing Russel Crowe as a gentler Robin Hood was like drinking a hot coke!
Personally, between Russel Crow and Kevin Costner, I would go for Daniel Day Lewis (look-matters so!)

So I am not a big fan of Russel Crowe, except when he became the Gladiator.
I watched the Prince of Thieves back in 1990s starring Kevin Costner as Robin, and that song by Bryan Adams was so, so mesmerizing ... Cant help comparing the two movies since they revolve around the handsome outlaw Mr. Longstride, can I?

Cate Blanchett did a wonderful role as Lady Marion.

I simply love the film's set design especially when it pictured the scenes in the old, ruined Nottingham Castle. Less of Sherwood Forest? Maybe, coming soon in the sequel, I hope.

Also, kudos to Friar Tuck, Little John and Lord Walter Loxley of Nottingham for their well-acted roles.

Bedtime Stories

As I put my daughter to sleep, she would request for a bedtime story almost every night.

So I become a story-teller, I tell tales; long tales, short tales, fairy tales, princes and princesses tales, local fables, Aesop fables, Disney stories, stories of the prophets, Abu Nawas stories, and even made-up ones.

Sometimes I tell story with my eyes closed or half-closed. The story become gibberish and she would yell out. Up, I continue, if she's lucky, it reaches the end "they lived happily ever after".

Tonight, is the story of Badang, who ate the vomit of a mischievous creature and turned strong like Popeye after spinach.

I wonder, just wonder, how she will remember my stories when she grows up. Will she tell the stories to her children? Do the stories end one night or they live for many years to come ...

So, have you heard? Malaysians are spending millions and millions (I am not surprised if it reaches billions) of Rupiah in Indonesia, and I am pretty sure Bandung is one favorite location :)

Do you know why? Because of the factory outlet frenzymania, people are spending like krazee!!
Of course I bought a lot of this n that but only ONE favorite buy - Levi's® 501® Button Fly **light stonewash**

However, however, however ...
I took some nice photos of Bandung but (dang!) couldn't find the my phone cable and my card reader is lousy :(

Eric Dane a gay? I was relieved that the there was only one intimate man-man scene in Valentine's Day movie (I watched it with my 10 y.o. - luckily she understood .. pheww).

Did I regret watching it? Well, I like the Dempsey-wife-Garner dinner encounter, and I loved Garner bashing the pinata the most! Emma Roberts was cool and Julia Roberts and Bradley Cooper were sweet, Anne Hathaway was spontaneous and last but not least, Ashton Kutcher was very, very cuddly! It was just a cute movie for Valentine-crazy peeps, that's all.

I was kinda relieved when the movie was over .. too much mushy-mushy??

The plot was predictable, but it was surely nice to see Uma Thurman as the lovely Medusa and the ex-Bond Pierce Brosnan walked on 4 legs instead of two! The demi-god characters were humbly, though they have so much to be proud of compared to us humans. Somehow, the happenings were scattered around the United States only, like would you believe Mount Olympus is right smack on top of the Empire State Building while Hollywood camouflages the down-under??

what a sad day for me yesterday ..

after my usual Tuesday morning grocery shopping, I bought a box of honey mandarin, a box of honey star, a kilo of crab (yummy dinner pictured in my head). I rushed to drive out from the store only to realize that I, absent-mindedly, left my beloved N86 dangling in a shopping trolley at the parking lot.

i hurried to make a U-turn back to the store, praying that the phone is still waiting for me there or please let a good samaritan come along. i reached there in 10 minutes, but .. alas, all hope was gone.

that was why this is a sad entry.
