Sugar and spice
and everything nice
that's what little girls are made of

Today I have a little note about sugar, sweets, candies, macaroons, baklava, halwa, white sugar, brown sugar, organic sugar and all that.
1. Sugar contains no nutritive value -no fibre, no vitamins, no enzymes, no minerals ~ ONLY empty calories
2. To burn the calories, our body has to 'borrow' vital nutrients from its store to metabolise sugar
3. Overconsumption of sugar causes acidic body
4. Cancer cells feed on sugar. DO NOT feed cancer cells.
Therefore, less is good!
